The purpose of this study is to test the initial validity of a newly developed early speech measure for children aged 18 to 36 months old. The profiles of early expressive phonological skills (PEEPS) is an established measure for children who speak English. We have created a version of this for children who speak Spanish. Children are provided with opportunities to spontaneously say words or repeat them when asked in a play-based context.
