Project
Description: The Western Reserve Reading and Math Project (WRRMP) is a NIH funded longitudinal study on child development. The project has collected data annually for 15 years, with data on approximately 450 twin pairs collected during this time. The project has had several focal points throughout its history.
Project
Description: Language processing accounts posit that spoken and written word predictability processes facilitate language comprehension, and prior research on contextual facilitation effects shows that individuals’ processing of a constrained word is faster and more accurate than that of an unconstrained word.
Dataset
Part of Project: Western Reserve Reading and Math Project
Description: This dataset contains all longitudinal data for the entirety of the WRRMP. This includes 10 waves worth of twin data, with extensive reading, math, behavioral, and environmental measures. Due to the twin nature of the data, data is presented as both long and wide, with each twin represented twice within the dataset.
Dataset
Part of Project: Sentence Context Effects on Word Processing Among School-Aged Children in Honduras
Description: These data are for children grade 3-6. It includes variables relevant to the examination of sentence context effects such as constrained and unconstrained words for both a reading and a listening task.
Dataset
Part of Project: Speech and language skills in children with nonsyndromic cleft palate with or without cleft lip
Description: These data are from our third meta-analysis project. The speech-vocabulary analysis represented eight samples and the speech-mlu analysis represented four samples. The ages ranged from 18-months to 39-months.
Dataset
Part of Project: Speech and language skills in children with nonsyndromic cleft palate with or without cleft lip
Description: These data represent effect sizes comparing children with NSCP/L to non-cleft peers. There are 241 effect sizes from 31 studies. Children's ages ranged from 13-months to 104-months (8;7). The data are in long format as there were multiple effect sizes extracted per study.
Dataset
Part of Project: Speech and language skills in children with nonsyndromic cleft palate with or without cleft lip
Description: These data are descriptive codes for the studies included in the meta-analysis. There are 31 studies. Data are presented in wide format. There are 34 variables.
