This dataset contains responses from 75 junior secondary school students in Nigeria with learning disabilities, who participated in a quasi-experimental study testing the effects of Reciprocal Questioning (RQ) and POSSE strategies on expository text comprehension. Variables include demographic information (age, gender, socioeconomic status), pretest and posttest comprehension scores, treatment group assignments (RQ, POSSE, control), and reading motivation measures. Data are in wide format, with each participant having pre- and post-intervention scores.
