Dataset: 2009-2010 School Level Data [v.1]

This dataset contains the school-level data related to the study "Methodological Decisions and their impacts on the perceived relations between school funding and educational achievement". The data contained within was pulled from data from the Florida Progress Monitoring and Reporting Network (PMRN; https://www.fldoe.org/core/fileparse.php/7544/urlt/PMRNv51PSLUG.pdf) as well as school-level per pupil expenditure data from the Florida Department of Education (https://web08.fldoe.org/TransparencyReports/CostReportSelectionPage.aspx).

Dataset: Longitudinal Study on Reading and Writing at the Word, Sentence, and Text Levels [v.1]

This dataset is longitudinal in nature, comprising data from school years (2007/2008-2010/2011) following students in grade 1 to grade 4. Measures were chosen to provide a wide array of both reading and writing measures, encompassing reading and writing skills at the word, sentence, and larger passage or text levels. Participants were tested on all measures once a year, approximately one year apart. Participants were first grade students in the fall of 2007 whose parents consented to participate in the longitudinal study.

Dataset: WRRMP Full data (all waves) [v.1]

This dataset contains all longitudinal data for the entirety of the WRRMP. This includes 10 waves worth of twin data, with extensive reading, math, behavioral, and environmental measures. Due to the twin nature of the data, data is presented as both long and wide, with each twin represented twice within the dataset.

Dataset: Vocabulary and Comprehension (VoCO) Project [v.1]

The Vocabulary and Comprehension (VoCo) project was a small study involving 44 struggling readers in Grade 9. The treatment was a multicomponent reading intervention delivered over 80 sessions during one school year. Data on measures of reading comprehension and fluency were collected at pre-test and post-test. Demographic data provided by the school district also are included in the dataset.

Dataset: PACT11 2012-2013 [v.1]

Students were in Grade 11 enrolled in general education social studies or in Grades 7-12 and enrolled in general education English/language arts classes. Data were collected using measures of reading and other academic skills, attitudes, and student characteristics. All students participated for one school year only. The datasets include demographic information on students provided by their school districts in addition to the data collected by the study teams. The 2012-13 PACT social studies study was an intentional replication of the 2011-12 PACT social studies study.
