Description: We will build out the comprehensive infrastructure (data integration, research products, training, and policy relevant recommendations) which is required to support informed and open-source use of the new US Report And Placement Integrated Data System (RAPIDS).

Part of Project: Promoting Adolescents’ Comprehension of Text (PACT)
Description: Students were in Grades 11 enrolled in general education social studies or in Grades 7-12 and enrolled in general education English/language arts classes. Data were collected using measures of reading and other academic skills, attitudes, and student characteristics. All students participated for one school year only.

Part of Project: Efficacy of the Core Knowledge Language Arts Read-Aloud Program in Kindergarten through First Grade Classrooms
Description: This data set is a wide file that merges all of the CKLA data sets at the teacher level. It focuses on the variables most likely to be analyzed. Although this is a teacher-level file, we include teacher aggregates of student measures in this data set. This file includes one case for each teacher.

Description: This data set is a wide file that merges all of the CKLA data sets at the G1 student level. It focuses on the variables most likely to be analyzed. Although this is a student-level file, we only include student aggregates of teacher measures in this data set due to COVID-19 preventing data collection on G1 students .

Description: This data set is a wide file that merges all of the CKLA data sets at the kindergarten student level. This dataset is comprised of task level variables from student measures as well as student aggregates of teacher measures. This file includes one case for each student.

Description: In the 2013-14 school year, two PACT social studies RCTs were conducted, both with Grade 8 students. One study focused on schools with a higher percentage of English learners. The second study focused on struggling readers and provided a more intensified version of the PACT program.

Description: The Vocabulary and Comprehension (VoCo) project was a small study involving 44 struggling readers in Grade 9. The treatment was a multicomponent reading intervention delivered over 80 sessions during one school year. Data on measures of reading comprehension and fluency were collected at pre-test and post-test.
