Project
Description: This LDbase project page containes the open science materials for our meta-analysis on the reading anxiety and reading achievement.
Project
Description: This study is a meta-scientific systematic review of published research literature in the content area of reading in order to estimate the prevalence of participation in key open science practices amongst authors publishing on this topic. This study is a conceptual replication and extension of previous studies by Cook et al.
Project
Description: We sought to understand the speech and language skills of children with nonsyndromic cleft palate with or without cleft lip (NSCP/L) by meta-analyzing results of the literature.
Dataset
Part of Project: Reading Anxiety and Reading Achievement: A Meta-Analysis
Description: This is the data that was extracted from existing studies for use in this meta-analysis on reading anxiety and reading achievement. This includes 44 studies. Many of the studies had multiple effect sizes. Each row of data represents a effect size (long format).
Dataset
Part of Project: Reading Anxiety and Reading Achievement: A Meta-Analysis
Description: This is a spreadsheet format of table 3 that is included in the manuscript. Table 3 reports the study quality of the studies included in the reading anxiety meta-analysis. 14 quality indicators were selected from a suggested list by Protogerou and Hagger (2020) and adapted slightly in some cases to fit our current meta-analysis topic.
Dataset
Part of Project: Reading Anxiety and Reading Achievement: A Meta-Analysis
Description: This is a spreadsheet format of table 4 that is included in the manuscript. Table 4 reports the reading anxiety measure used in each of 44 studies included in the reading anxiety meta-analysis.
Dataset
Part of Project: Speech and language skills in children with nonsyndromic cleft palate with or without cleft lip
Description: These data are from our third meta-analysis project. The speech-vocabulary analysis represented eight samples and the speech-mlu analysis represented four samples. The ages ranged from 18-months to 39-months.
Code
Part of Project: Reading Anxiety and Reading Achievement: A Meta-Analysis
Description: This is the code from the analysis ran for the reading anxiety meta-analysis.
Code Type: Analysis
Document
Part of Project: Reading Anxiety and Reading Achievement: A Meta-Analysis
Description: This is the coding document that we used when extracting coded information from each of the studies included in the reading anxiety meta-analysis. This document also serves as a code book to that dataset for this project that is also on this same LDbase project page.
Document Type: Codebook
Document
Part of Project: Reading Anxiety and Reading Achievement: A Meta-Analysis
Description: This is the same document as the R code for this meta-analysis on reading anxiety. However this is shared in a pdf format.
Document Type: Other
Document
Part of Project: Reading Anxiety and Reading Achievement: A Meta-Analysis
Description: In this preregisteration we outline our plan for conducting this meta-analysis on the association between reading anxiety and reading achievement. We provide a description of the study, including the study aims and research questions.
Document Type: Preregistration
Document
Part of Project: Reading Anxiety and Reading Achievement: A Meta-Analysis
Description: We are conducting a meta-analysis on the association between reading anxiety and reading achievement. This document, specifically, is our preregistered coding sheets we plan to use for extraction of information from each study included in the meta-analysis.
